Pet Shop Boys es el grupo británico que mas éxito tuvo en la historia del país hace muchos años. Con sus melodías y ritmos Synthpop capturaron a millones de admiradores que los siguen a lo largo del tiempo. 

Sus comienzos no fueron nada simples, siempre innovando y adquiriendo experiencia que le permita crecer en un género músical muy poco comercial que sin dudas le sienta bien. 

Tomándose descansos de 3 a 6 años sin realizar ningún tipo de trabajo comenzarían una carrera de mas de 20 años que los consagra como dúo.
Hoy por hoy, nuevos lanzamientos y nuevas giras los vuelven a poner en el centro del escenario para que con su new-wave hagan delirar a sus fans.

Los componentes de Pet Shop Boys, Neil Francis Tennant y Chris Sean Lowe empezaron a componer juntos en 1981, tras conocerse en una tienda de componentes electrónicos musicales. Pet Shop Boys no tardaron en hacerse un hueco en la música de la época. Su álbum de debut salió en 1986, se titulaba 'Please', e incluía temas como 'Opportunities' y 'West End Girls'. Disco tras disco el dúo se ha ido consolidando hasta ser unos clásicos de la escena dance-pop-indie. 'Actually', 'Belhavior' o 'Very', además de colaboraciones con artistas de la talla de David Bowie, Tina Turner, Kylie Minogue o Boy George no han hecho más que confirmar que son uno de los grandes de la música. Tras 'Fundamental', 'Yes' es el nombre de su último disco.
